What it means for Vietnamese businesses
Vietnamese exporters generally use a C/O form EUR.1; statements on origin by exporters are possible within the agreement’s limits, and EU exporters register in the REX system. Garments must generally meet a fabric-forward rule (fabric made in Vietnam or the EU, with limited cumulation such as Korean fabric).
Proof of origin
Usual proof of origin for goods traded with Vietnam: EUR.1 / REX. Check the current MOIT guidance and the agreement’s product-specific rules.
